However, like lots of tourists visiting India, I guess what most shocked me was the dirt and the powerful smell of 'Holy' cows (I don't know why still consider them as holy and leave them in the cities eating all the plastic bags and garbage that litter the streets, but even our Indian guide couldn't answer and was kind of ashamed when I raised the question). The other thing that really shocked me was men peeing everywhere, any time. I don't mean to insult anybody, but I've seen dogs hold it for longer. In the middle of the crowded city centres, or in the middle of now where, they pee.
One city, Ghaziabad, has realised that this has to stop, and has found a good solution against it. Here's the video found on the site of IBN and Indian TV.
